- Fees for consumer
1. The consumer shall pay a fee of DKK 200 for an appeal to be processed by the Appeals Board for Insurance.
2. The fee will be refunded to the consumer if the Appeals Board upholds the consumer’s appeal, if the parties reach a settlement in favour of the consumer or if the case is rejected by the Appeals Board in accordance with section 16 of the Act on Consumer Complaints.
3. Neither party shall cover the other party’s costs. The Appeals Board may order the trader to pay all or part of the costs for e.g. expert opinions necessary for processing the case.
