Fees for consumers

1) The dispute settlement authority’s services are provided free of charge, unless a participation agreement drawn up with a company expressly provides otherwise.
2) However, consumers are required to contribute a fee of CHF 50 upon initiating proceedings to ensure that the claim is genuine.
3) Each party bears its own costs in the dispute settlement proceedings.
